UX Principles That Double Conversion Rates

Jed Llenado02 Jan 20251 min read

Good UX isn't subjective. These are the patterns I've validated across 20+ client projects with measurable conversion lifts.

Reduce Cognitive Load

Every unnecessary choice costs conversions. Default to the best option, hide advanced settings, and use progressive disclosure.

Friction Is the Enemy

Each extra form field reduces conversion ~10%. Cut everything non-essential. Use social login. Pre-fill data whenever possible.

Social Proof Above the Fold

Put your most compelling testimonial, review count, or client logo where users see it before scrolling.
